JellyBeanstalk

Together players grow the JellyBeanstalk and help Jack climb it, collecting their favourite flavour of Jelly Bean along the way. Be careful not to upset Jack's balance however, or he, and the beanstalk, will come tumbling down. And then there's the problem of that Giant.

The beanstalk is grown by stacking, alternatively, dice and cards. Players try to orientate the cards so that their flavour of jellybean is facing them whilst also balancing the cards to avoid the beanstalk tumbling down. Once the JellyBeanstalk is fully grown, the player who has collected the most Jelly Beans of their chosen flavour wins.

JellyBeanstalk was placed 1st in the Most Innovative Mechanic category in the 2016 One Page PnP Contest.

The game was picked up by Quick Simple Fun Games who then developed and rethemed it. It was published in 2019 as Squirrelin' Around.
